The popular verification site, Snopes, discusses a viral message touting the “heroic” acts of Marvin Heemeyer, a man who created a “killdozer” to exact revenge on a small Colorado town, omits several key details.
In the wake of the murders at the Capital Gazette in Annapolis, Md. June 28 I felt compelled to write about the attack on me and the Sky-Hi News in Granby 14 years ago. It foretold some of the violence against the media and government that we see today. Read the guest commentary here.
